The final Let’s Talk About It virtual author presentation from the Idaho Commission for Libraries features Reyna Grande, author of the best-selling memoir The Distance Between Us. This moving memoir details Grande’s immigration journey from Mexico to the United States when she was just nine years old. Grande writes about immigration, family separation, language trauma, the price of the American dream, and her own journey as a writer. Her work has won an American Book Award, an International Latino Book Award, and a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award.
