SIHA Programs
Our friends at the Sawtooth Interpretive and Historical Association are hosting History Day at the Stanley Museum this Saturday, July 9, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Stop by for games, pioneer crafts, ice cream, and historic displays to celebrate local history.
The SIHA Friday Forum and Lecture Series begins this Friday, July 8, at 6:00 p.m. (new time) on the Stanley Museum lawn. The first program features Diane K. Yupe, Shoshone-Bannock Tribal member, speaking on “Coyote and the Basket.” Click here to learn more.
Stargazing at the Park
The Boise Astronomical Society is hosting a public sky observatory at Stanley Pioneer Park this Friday and Saturday, July 8 and 9, beginning at dusk. Catherine Slaughter, the Astronomer in Residence for the Central Idaho Dark Sky Reserve, will be present to guide viewing and answer questions.
